I always find myself to be struggling and often feel uninspired when it comes to dressing during that transitional season between winter and spring. It is especially frustrating around this time here in Hong Kong, where it is warm one day, cool the next. Pretty much like the mood swings of a woman during that time of the month – unpredictable. But then look on the bright side, it is also the most perfect time of the year to invest in some lightweight outerwear to play layering with – like this flowy pyjama-inspired silk robe by CAMI NYC, which is on sale now on REVOLE (FYI, it is 100% silk. Scored!). For what it’s worth, my love for anything silky goes way back, and there is no better time than now to throw them on to bring the laid-back vibes from the bedroom to the street.
Q&A break: to tone down the dressiness of silks, who do you turn to? Yes, you got it right, denim (of course…). I am aware that it is probably a good idea for me to give the jeans a rest, and be seen in something not-typically-me once in a while. You know, just what a good stylist and style blogger should be like – diverse and able to work with any sort of styles thrown her way. SPOILER ALERT: For that reason, I am having something blossoming in mind for the next post for a change. Watch this space!
